*** All kindergartners will be having a mini- physical education class on Day #2 at 9:35.  Please make sure your child is dressed for Physical Education on this day as well.  Thank you!

As you may already know we follow a 5-day schedule to ensure that all students have equal time in their Special Area classes throughout the school year. Day 1-5 Schedule can be found on the lunch menu each month! :) The first week of school schedule is as follows:

                            Monday:             NO SCHOOL

                                                          Tuesday:            NO SCHOOL

                       Wednesday:         Day 1- Happy First Day

                       Thursday:            Day 2

                   Friday:              Day 3

PARENT NOTES:

*Please take time to look in your child's take home folder each night.  This is where all school work and important information will be sent home to you.  Also, make sure your child brings it back to school each morning.  If you have any notes or paperwork for us or the school, you can place them it in the folder.  We check them each morning!  Thanks for your support! 

*Be sure your child wears appropriate shoes and clothing for the playground.  We will be going out as much as possible (weather permitting).

Peacemakers:

Mrs. Kawa is our school counselor and coach in character education.  We are very fortunate to have her work with each of our classrooms on a daily and/or weekly basis.  Students will work on demonstrating outstanding character both inside and outside the classroom.  Weekly we will post what the students are focusing on and things you can do to reinforce the instruction at home.

Each week, the teachers nominate one student from each classroom to be the Peacemaker of the week. To be a peacemaker you have to: remember to follow the rules, listen during learning time, do hard work by trying your best, and be a kind friend.
